Max Azria, BCBG to Show at Bryant Park

In this week's Fashion Week news, the BCBG Max Azria Group announced that it's planning to go ahead with all three of its runway shows: BCBG, Max Azria, and Herve Leger.

Not only that, but they're not planning on showing in smaller venues or using fewer models. "Nothing's changing -- I hope it will be better, more rock and roll, more emotional," Max Azria said in The Wall Street Journal.

That's what we like to hear! Show that economy who's boss!

That's not to say Azria is oblivious to the market right now. He's planning on spending less on the shows this season -- about 75 percent of what the company usually spends.

Meanwhile, Division St. blog is reporting that Rock & Republic has canceled their runway show. We hear the label is actually doing a presentation in Paris, where they often throw a pretty raucous bash.
