Lululemon, the cheery community ambassador and yoga outfitter, opened its Brooklyn showroom last week.
Nestled along a burgeoning stretch of Bergen Street between 5th and Flatbush, Lululemon tries out a slightly new concept for the New York area: a shop-sized showroom open on an appointment-only basis. On top of showcasing the line's latest technical product in their sunny space, they'll be offering a weekly complimentary yoga class with different luminaries around the area, and other community events once they're properly settled.
It's worth the trip as the worldwide brand is joining such smaller gems already established on the block like Eponymy, bump, Private Stock and Bergen Street Comics. Oh, and there's also the lure of the Slope's cutest restaurants on either end.
