A line started to form outside of Mercury Lounge before 5 a.m. today for presale tickets to LCD Soundystem's final show at Madison Square Garden. By 8 a.m, the queue wrapped around the corner of Houston and Ludlow Streets and stretched more than halfway down the block toward Stanton. Mercury will open its doors at 10 a.m, at which point early birds' five-hour wait in 15 degree weather will be rewarded with tickets to LCD's three-hour farewell extravaganza.
