Bartenders mixed pink drinks in front of a series of portraits featuring the various decades of Ken and Barbie's romance. (The party was pegged as a massive effort to draw attention back to Ken, who apparently wants Barbie back.)

Of course, the main draw of the event were six models on pedestals, each styled by one of the city's top menswear designers. Naturally, Yigal Azrouel's male is shirtless.

Needless to say, Simon Spurr's Ken was likely our favorite. Not only was he wearing a three-piece suit, but he brought chocolates! Spurr admitted he really grew up with "Action Man," but told us: "Barbie and Ken are like iconic figurines in American culture, so to be part of that history, especially in this moment in their relationship -- it's a great opportunity, and I think designers need to do these kind of events."

For those looking to take a bit of Barbie and Ken home with them, the event also highlighted playfully iconic pieces from the brand's history, as well as some pieces you could buy from the Barbie store.
