The Council of Fashion Designers of America is honoring Johnny Depp with the Fashion Icon of the Year award — the first man to receive the honor. See his style evolution, from teen heartthrob to leading stud. 1988: The then-25-year-old Johnny Depp looked dapper as he attended the 18th Annual Nosotros Golden Eagle Awards in Beverly Hills.
1989: In the late 80's Depp was the epitome of a Hollywood hunk. Here, the future Willy Wonka wore a chocolate-hued blazer to the "Parenthood" movie premiere in Los Angeles.
