One of the most critically acclaimed mass brand/high-end designer collaborations in recent memory, "+J", the joint effort between Uniqlo and Jil Sander, is returning to US shelves in January, much to the thrill of the fans that lined up to buy the simple, well-tailored pieces this fall.
The initial October launch was such a success with both men and women, in fact, that it makes perfect sense to give it another go. For spring, WWD hints that "volume" may play a new role in the design, while the colors are kept cooly muted in white, ivory, pastels and "chalked out acids." Prices are still super reasonable with a t-shirt sold for $22 and a coat for $168. The collection debuts in Japan first on December 23, then London on January 7, the U.S. on January 14, and finally France on January 20. So if you were debating a spontaneous trip to Japan anytime soon or wondering where to spend your soon-to-have holiday cash, here's your answer.
