Intrepid Fashion … in Times Square!

This is the first week of indie fashion site Refinery29's monthlong pop-up in ... it's hard to even say it out loud ... the glamorous Port Authority in Times Square.

The concept is simple: Team up with folks like the Times Square Alliance, the Fashion Center BID, the Launch Collective, and some truly amazing under-the-radar designers to create "Save Fashion"—or, as they call it, "the sample sale of our dreams." You know you've done something spectacular when, on the opening night party, Michael Bloomberg calls the event truly innovative.

For the next four weeks, the space will feature a rotating cast of labels—from sleek Helmut Lang separates to cheery Sunshine & Shadow prints. This week's offerings include lynchpin indie labels for women like Alice Ritter, Catherine Holstein , Charlotte Ronson, Elise Overland, Jeffrey Monteiro, Rachel Comey, and VPL, as well as more tried-and-true brands like Earnest Sewn denim and Madewell.

Check out the full month's roster of talent here, or brave the hordes at Times Square to take a peek for yourself!
