It's hard to say if stuff's just being backed up for winter or being prepped to be shipped via UPS to Dubai, but things are being dismantled at Astroland in Coney Island, per the close Coney watchers at the Coney Island Message Board. Every Astroland obsessive should know, per Kinetic Carnival, that "the Astroland Tea Cup rides has been packed and ready to be shipped off, it seems." Also, the Breakdancer ride has been shipped off to points unknown. Rumors of Thor Equities canvassing school bus companies and offering low cost parking in Coney are untrue, however. No deals on Astroland's future, though Thor is promising rides rather than school buses.
