Back when I was an intern, I first encountered the buzz and mystery surrounding The Prada Friends and Family Sale. The people in charge would give editors certain time slots to come shop, and those editors would then saunter out of work, all, "Oh, I'm heading to The Prada Sale, back later" and everyone else would swoon in their wake.
But this year, Miuccia must be feeling democratic, because The Sale starts tomorrow, and it's open to anyone.
