There has been much discussion here on the site about the role that celebrities play or should play in fashion collaborations. Sometimes they seem obvious plays for press, and other times they seem interesting, if odd or unexpected.
Which is kind of how we feel about Ronnie Wood, fashion designer. The Rolling Stone is teaming up with Liberty of London for a collection of accessories, dresses, t-shirts inspired by and using the rocker's paintings.
The company is known to work frequently with artists, but we're not sure about spending close to $300 (and up to $3300 for a hand painted leather bag) for a little piece of Ronnie Wood that doesn't involve him being anywhere near a guitar, with Mick on vocals.
But, then again, maybe we're just feeling collaboration fatigue.
