Fashion Tips for a '90s Throwdown

You could spend the next few days shopping a city full of summer sales. But we'd venture to guess you've got other plans, too. This weekend, Gowanus hotspot The Bell House is hosting a '90s-themed party to benefit local animals in need. Here's what to wear when you go.

SAVED BY THE BELL HOUSE SUMMER DANCE
Do: Gowanus hotspot The Bell House couldn't have picked a catchier theme for it's second annual benefit party. Three dollars from each $12 ticket goes directly to the ASPCA.

Wear: Parker's zip-front sundress features just enough of a sweetheart silhouette to fit the occasion ($253 at Dear Fieldbinder). Rachel Comey's "Shingle" boots are a chicer shoe choice than Doc Martens ($368 at Jumelle).

Pair them with '90s-era accessories that you can still wear with a straight face come Monday. BCGB Generation's slouchy metallic fanny pack ($58 at BCBG) and By Boe's "My Heart" wire bracelet ($50) will make you feel 16 again...without looking it.

Where: 149 7th Street (between Second and Third Avenues); 718-643-6510. Purchase tickets online at ticketweb.com.
