Fashion Couple on Love: Don't Try Too Hard

Rising fashion stars Ana Beatriz Lerario and her husband Robert Geller prove one doesn't need to trade in substance for style. Lerario, who runs the line Lerario Beatriz and Geller, a CFDA award-winning designer who recently showed at Fashion Week, said relating on a professional level helps with the personal.

"It's good because we have the same schedule first of all which is nice," Lerario said last night at the Barneys New York launch of Richard Chai - Love at White Slab Palace.

"When I'm stressed, he's stressed so we understand each other."

While fashion looms large in the Lerario-Geller household, the couple makes sure that the industry doesn't take over their lives. Geller's advice to couples mixing fashion and family is "not to take it too seriously."

"We love fashion, we like coming out, having fun, but I guess you have to give priority to each other," Geller said. "People get so into fashion and everything that they don't have space for anybody else."

For those looking for the perfect relationship, Lerario's stance is to just chill out.

"You don't try to find love," she said. "I think when you find it, it's just there."
