EaterWire: Schrager and the King of Spain, Smith's Grilled Cheese, a Beer Table Brunch, and More

SOBE— Cutlets, ahem, The Feedbag gets word that February's SoBe Wine and Food Festival may have even bigger names than the NYC version this weekend: "The Feedbag has it on good authority that Schrager is meeting with His Majesty Juan Carlos I, King of Spain, to finalize negotiations bringing the monarch to preside over the “Viva Espana” dinner being held next February at SOBE." [The Feedbag]

WEST VILLAGE— In honor of Fall, Smith's in the West Village is re-launching their Sunday grilled cheese menu. The $11 and $12 (this is fancy grilled cheese we're dealing with) sandwiches will be served from 5-10 p.m. on Sundays and after 10 every other day. [Strongbuzz]

PARK SLOPEAndrew Knowlton, an admitted non-bruncher, finds an afternoon breakfast he can get behind, Beer Table's: "On weekends they've just started serving a $23 brunch menu inspired by the mid-morning Bavarian meal of weisswurst (white sausage), a pretzel, and weissbier (white beer)...In Bavaria, tradition says weisswurst should not be consumed before noon." [BA Foodist]

ATLANTAIl Mulino, which already has locations in NYC, Long Island, Vegas, DC, and God knows where else is expanding to Atlanta. The new restaurant will open in November in the 191 Peachtree Tower. [EaterWire]For more stories from Eater, go to eater.com.
