GREENPOINT— Long awaited Greenpoint bar Production Lounge is finally open. They're hoping to lure in the crowds with a food menu they're launching this week, but an early reviewer is not impressed: "Whoever started this place clearly did not do his research. The last time I walked by there they had velvet ropes and what appeared to be two bouncers. I found this rather amusing as there was nobody around to 'bounce.' I give this place six months. Max." NOLITA— Grub Street is spreading some worrisome rumors about Nolita's beloved Ethiopian restaurant Ghenet: We’re hearing a rumor that Ghenet...has been given a week to vacate, and may be taking the landlord (the William Gottlieb estate) to court.
