Discontinued: Lounge Bites the Dust Big Time

Before the lacy-underthinged hulk of the Victoria's Secret flagship moves in on Broadway, destination store Lounge is determined to throw one hell of a closing sale. Below gigantic posters reminding you that they are closing only because they lost their lease, a sea of 50%-90% off clothing, accessories and shoes is ripe for the taking.

We dropped in over the weekend and almost caved in to half-price Marc by Marc Jacobs mouse flats and a Sonia Rykiel coat, but we recommend waiting it out as the sale is projected to last a couple of weeks. Over in men's, there are entire racks of Monarchy shirts, if that's your thing, and occasional gems like leather jackets from Belstaff. If anything, the accessories are what to hit first; think Valentino sunglasses, Breil Milano Jewelry, Nooka watches, D.L. & Co. candles and even special-edition JimmyJane vibrators on sale.

It's two levels of store closing desperation, so don't expect top notch service from the sales associates and be prepared to weed through a flood of Miss Sixty. The minute that Lounge sells its last few pieces, you can bet the people from Victoria's Secret will be in there with their measuring tape; the spot is slated to merge with the Eastern Mountain Sports space to form a 24,000-sq ft über Victoria's Secret. This makes it a trio of retail goliaths coming soon to Broadway: Topshop, Hollister and now, Victoria.
