Rock and Roll New Year's Eve Countdown with Deer Tick

It seems entirely possible to us that you or someone you care about enjoys both bluesy, boozy country punk songs about beer and general rowdiness, and yet you still haven't nailed down your New Year's Eve plans. Their might even be a connection there, but it's really not for us to say.

So, you or someone you know will be glad to hear that Providence, R.I. rabblerousers Deer Tick will play New Year's Eve at the Brooklyn Bowl.

The best song on their new album Divine Providence is called "Let's All Go to the Bar," and we'll just assume that message will get an enthusiastic response.

Dead Confederate, whose mix of country and rock tends to be a bit more Southern and grunge, are on the bill also, as well as J. Roddy Walton & The Business.

Tickets are available here, and if you really, really like country-punk type stuff and don't mind paying a little bit more you can get a combo pack that will get you in to the Lucero show the night before.
