Cops Explain Great Obama Hipster Bust of '08: Well, thank God the mystery of…

Well, thank God the mystery of what happened on Bedford Avenue Tuesday night when hipsters fueled by glee of Barack Obama's victory and maybe some PBR filled the streets and may or may not have been pushed around and beaten by NY's finest. The cops say they arrested three people and issued summonses to five others. The cops in riot gear went to Bedford Avenue and North Seventh Street around 1:30 a.m. after residents called 911 to say the hipsters were partying too hard. The police say they behaved appropriately and that there were about 450 menacing hipsters, some of whom were "acting raucous." Some may have poured PBR from rooftops. Five people were issued summonses for disorderly conduc and three others were busted. No word on the dude who allegedly got the shit beaten out of him by the cops.
