GRAMERCY—It turns out our earlier report that Tom Colicchio was getting back in the kitchen every other Tuesday was correct: the man misses his cooking. Grub St. and the Times report he will be cooking for the private dining room at Craft year round, the project will be named Tom and will hold 32 seats, and he'll offer a multi-course dinner for between $150-250. The resy number is 212-400-6495. It's a strange but intriguing proposition and we can only assume it will be a hot resy for the first few weeks. It just remains to be seen how all pricey set menus, here and otherwise, will fare in the coming months as people scale back. UPDATE: The full press release, ahead.

Reservations: Elena Silva, 212.400.6495
Owner/Executive chef: Tom Colicchio
Opening: Tuesday, October 14th
On October 14, Tom Colicchio, chef/owner of Craft restaurants, will open Tom: Tuesday Dinner, a new 32-seat, farm-to-table restaurant that will feature Tom's personal, no-holds barred cooking in an intimate, open-kitchen setting. The restaurant, open every other Tuesday, is the embodiment of Tom's earliest ideals: a signature place that defines him, small enough that he can cook straight from the hip, with his hands on each and every plate. Tom: Tuesday Dinner will offer a spontaneous tasting menu, built from the seasonal and artisan market ingredients that have long been Tom's inspiration. The cost of the set-price menu will vary depending on the ingredients sourced for each dinner, ranging from $150-$250 per person. Reservations are accepted up to six weeks in advance.
