The American Dairy Council today attempted to set a new world record for the world's largest mug of hot cocoa in Bryant Park.
The seven-foot wide mug held 487 gallons -- that's almost eight thousand cups of of piping hot cocoa -- not to mention tons of marshmallows.
Officials said we'll have to wait see whether it set a world record.
