
Fort Greene Garden Walk
Brownstone Brooklyn Garden District presents its 12th Annual Garden Walk. The self-guided walk includes 10 private gardens, 3 community gardens, and a commercial rooftop, featuring a hydroponic garden, a beehive, and a chicken coop. Additional stops on the tour include Irondale Theatre and GreenSpaces where “green graffiti” artist Edina Tokadi has created indoor and outdoor installations with sedum and wheatgrass. Victorian Flatbush House Tour
Thankfully, the Victorian Flatbush House Tour found 10 houses. On this self-guided tour, stroll the streets of the neighborhood of Flatbush, home to five NYC Historic Districts, and tour the interiors of 10 homes, each lovingly preserved and restored.
Sunday, June 14. 1-6 p.m. $20; $25 day of tour. Tour starts at Landmark Temple Beth Emeth, 83 Marlborough Road.
Brooklyn Flea
This week, the Brooklyn Flea takes place outdoors in Ft. Greene on Saturday and opens up its Brooklyn Bridge location on Sunday. Both locations feature a great mix of vintage, antiques, jewelry, and food.
