Community Board 6 Meeting and Superfund Discussion
Community Board 6's monthly meeting will focus on the Gowanus Canal Superfund issue. There will be a presentation and discussion with representatives from the EPA on a proposal to designate the Gowanus Canal as a Superfund site. Find out what that means for the community, learn more about the process used to make such a determination, and hear from representatives from the City of New York on their plans to address Gowanus-related environmental conditions.

Community Board 9 Meeting
Community Board 9 is having its monthly meeting. The most important item on the agenda is representatives from the Department of Transportation will present plans for the implementation of traffic calming measures for Empire Boulevard from Flatbush Avenue to Utica Avenue.
