Beer Wars
Beer Wars, a documentary by Anat Baron, former General Manager of Mike’s Hard Lemonade, follows two small brewery companies as they compete with larger ones such as Anhauser-Busch. After the screening, Dogfish, Brooklyn Brewery, Stone Brewing Co., and Smuttynose Brewing will share their beers along with their experiences with today's brewing industry. Green Fort Greene + Clinton Hill Meeting
This meeting will discuss topics including maximizing the number of tree pits, convincing other businesses to go green, and finding a method to track which businesses are participating in developing a code of green practices. Celebrate Brooklyn! Presents Jackson Browne
In 2004, Browne was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by fellow American musical artist and good friend, Bruce Springsteen. During the same year, Browne received an honorary Doctorate of Music from Los Angeles' Occidental College a musical career that has combined an intensely personal artistry with a broader vision of social change and justice.
