The Summer Streets program came to Prospect Heights this weekend as the neighborhood's main commercial drag of Vanderbilt Avenue was closed to vehicular traffic between Park Place to Dean Street from noon to 5 p.m. Blogger Cozy Josie was on the scene and describes it as more like a block party than a street fair, with local restaurants and bars extending their seating area into the street and community organizations setting up information booths.
