StreetLevel: Bergen's Loss is Vanderbilt's Gain

Unnameable Books recently shuttered its Park Slope location on Bergen Street. The shop—which TONY noted has "a cluttered, top-shelf inventory that could keep you reading great tomes for the next decade"—is in the process of moving into its new home in Prospect Heights, on Vanderbilt near the corner of St. Marks. While this is sad news for Park Slope's indie bookstore scene (are there any mom-and-pop bookshops left besides the Community Bookstore?) at least it didn't go out of business. We're not sure when the Vanderbilt space is opening, but a peek inside last week revealed that shelving is in place. GMAP
