The Historic Districts Council, which launched the online blitz of Council Member Mathieu Eugene over his stated opposition to including all 12 buildings in the Ocean on the Park Historic District on Monday night confirmed his reversal on Tuesday afternoon in an email:
“I am happy to support all twelve buildings in the proposed Ocean on the Park Historic District,” Council Member Eugene proclaims. “And I am proud of the diverse architectural history represented throughout my district.”
