The free parking ride is almost over in Clinton Hill but it's coming to the ritzier sections of Community Board 2 shortly. The Department of Transportation announced yesterday that street cleaning regulations, suspended back in mid-May while signs reflecting the switch from twice-a-week to once-a-week street cleaning were installed, would be restored in Fort Greene and Clinton Hill as of July 20; meanwhile, alternate side of the street parking in Dumbo, Brooklyn Heights and Downtown Brooklyn will be suspended for six to eight weeks starting Monday to facilitate a similar signage switch-over.
