As expected, the long-awaited opening of the F. Martinella delicatessen at the corner of Court and State in Brooklyn Heights opened on Monday. Blogger McBrooklyn notes the not-unexpected mix of offerings: "Lots of lunch meats (naturally), a variety of sandwich cheeses, cakes and cookies, coffee." Just hope they make enough to cover that $125 a foot rent!
