Don't mistake this event for a giant, neigborhood tag sale. Everything at the Flatbush Freemeet is, well, free. Bring anything you were going to re-gift, stoop sale or store indefinitely in the closet and see if anyone else wants it, and peruse others' castoffs. Used Brita filters and electronics that need recycling are also welcome. The event is this Saturday, November 22, 2008 from noon to 3pm at the P.S. 217 Playground (1100 Newkirk Avenue at Coney Island Avenue).
