There’s a thread on Brooklynian that wants you to vote for the best new name for Park Slope. Why the need for a change? The original poster states that "since no one can ever agree what qualifies as Park Slope vs. Windsor Terrace vs Sunset Park vs South Slope etc. I propose we just call the whole thing off and decide on a new name for the area." In the lead is Obamanutville and second place is North Sunset Park. Some write-in contenders are Slopeparksburg and Gowanuswood Park.
