There's plenty of creative architecture in the wild, unmarked lands of Greenwood Heights and South Slope (this one is just north of the Prospect Expressway, for those of you who are serious and certain about neighborhood boundaries). Someone has very lovingly altered their facade and added domed awnings reading "My Little Castle" on this 8th Avenue multi-family home (looks like there's a corset company operating there called Veritée Hill). Looks from Property Shark like the mortgage was satisfied back in 2002 and they're free to decoratively stucco (not sure that's the material) as they see fit. Say what you will about it, it's nice to see homeowners taking pride in their properties; see the rusty drips from the window sills next door. GMAP
