Yesterday, laid-back chic label Joie debuted its first U.S. stand-alone at 1196 Madison Avenue.
Shop the full collection — organized by color and displayed with help from crystal clear lucite boxes — against a cool-neutrals backdrop, pied-à-terre-worthy details (birds! flowers! taxidermy!), and hand-painted mural work.
The shop packs a lot of pretty into a relatively small space: Even the in-store fireplace is stuffed with potted white orchids, and flanked by a pair of creamy leather upholstered Louis XV Bergere chairs.
According to WWD, owner Serge Azria will plans to also feature and rotate handbags, jewelry and artist collaborations through the new store.
