Champion bottle service purveyors Noah Tepperberg and Jason Strauss are close to finalizing a deal to open a rooftop lounge at the Dream Downtown hotel, reports Eater. Fondly nicknamed The Cheesegrater for its holey exterior, the long-gestating Dream will open soon on the border of the Meatpacking District and Chelsea, close to Tepperberg-Strauss projects Marquee and Avenue.
In other neighborhood hotel nightlife news, bars at The Standard might soon outnumber guestrooms after the party compound successfully lobbied the community board for extended liquor licenses and more public drinking areas.
