Anya Hindmarch is now doing outerwear, which is thrilling enough in and of itself, but here's the best part: She's partnering with Brit classic outdoor outfitter Barbour on four new coats for Fall. Jolly good!
It's a good day when two of your go-to, unwavering favorites team up on an exciting (read: logical, innovative, wonderful) collaboration. Both quintessentially British, the two houses complement each other with Hindmarch bringing contemporary lightheartedness and Barbour, its supreme quality and stalwart status.
Both Hindmarch and Barbour made a name for themselves with their cottons -- Hindmarch's "I'm Not a Plastic Bag" tote, and Barbour with 100-year-old coats for outdoor sportsmen and women (like, the Queen). Needless to say, we'll be keeping our eyes peeled for the four pieces, debuting Fall 2010.
