LIRR launches deal to MacArthur Airport

If you're looking to skip the big three when flying in our out of New York City this holiday, the Long Island Rail Road has launched a deal to make it easier to get to the Long Island MacArthur Airport.

The airport in Central Islip , which is served by Southwest and USAirways Express, can be reached with door-to-door tickets priced from $7 to $14.

If you're too far from Long Island, the Stewart International Airport in Newburgh is the other option, which government official have been pushing as the fourth airport alternative.

Stewart is currently served by Delta Connection, jetBlue, Northwest and US Airways Express.

If you're looking at cheap buses, also not that Greyhound has just launched a sale with some routes discounted by 75 percent.
