The conversion of the old Hotel Breslin SRO at Broadway and 29th Street to the hipsteriffic Ace Hotel will once again miss its splashy debut date. HotelChatter reports that the latest grand opening projection, May 1st, ain't happenin' due to "permit issues," but check this out: "Guests who have been relocated are scoring a voucher good for a future one-night stay, valid for the next two years, plus, get this: a t-shirt that says, 'I almost stayed at ACE New York.'"
