9/13: Chang & Bourdain, Jay-Z & Em, Heathers: The Musical!

A-LIST TWOFER, PT. 1: David Chang and Anthony Bourdain, together again! Changain (Bourdang?) convene for a culinary chat of epic proportions: the head Momofuku chef and the gravelly-voiced, perpetually hungry globetrotter will discuss the food scene in NYC and beyond (Bourdain also has a new book to plug: Medium Raw: A Bloody Valentine to the World of Food and the People Who Cook). Part of the 92nd Street Y’s Lectures and Conversations. 8PM.

A-LIST TWOFER, PT. 2: Jay-Z and Eminem land at Yankee Stadium for the first of two concerts—and the first concerts at the new arena, period—fresh off of opening their Home and Home tour in Detroit. They’ve sold close to 140 million albums between the two of them, so what else do you need to know? 7:30PM.

DEBUT: 11th grade was never so sinister as in the cult eighties movie Heathers, and now—finally!—the long-awaited adaptation is inching towards Broadway. Tonight’s your first glimpse of Heathers: The Musical, as the songs are performed for the first time in public at Joe’s Pub. 7 and 9:30PM.
