Truckloads of New York’s finest bagels are on their way to Washington D.C. – a treat for the millions of expected attendees as Barack Obama takes office as president this Tuesday.
One million bagels – complete with lox and schmear – will be sent to Washington and distributed among the hungry legions.
The bagels are the lovechild of New York City bagel maker Adam Rosner, a fifth-generation bagel maker. Some city Democrats are helping to bake and pack the quintessential New York City food.
