Rumer Willis Checks Into ‘Chicago'

She won the last season of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.” And now, Rumer Willis is dancing her way to the Great White Way.

Willis will make her Broadway debut in the hit revival of Kander and Ebb’s “Chicago” this summer, for an eight-week limited engagement. Willis will replace Grammy-winning singer and actress Brandy Norwood, in the role of murderess Roxie Hart.

Norwood departs the production on Aug. 2. Willis will step in Aug. 18, and continue with the Razzle Dazzle through Oct. 11 -- less than two weeks before her dad, Bruce Willis, makes his Broadway debut in the stage adaptation of Stephen King’s “Misery.”

Rumer Willis made her acting debut as a child, opposite her mother, Demi Moore, in two films: “Striptease” and “Now and Then.” Since then, she’s graced the big and small screen, with roles in “The House Bunny,” and TV’s “Pretty Little Liars.”

“Chicago” is playing at the Ambassador Theatre. For tickets and information, visit chicagothemusical.com.
