Don't mess with the ADAs -- they have the law on their side.

ADA Casey Novak and ADA Alexandra Cabot will be returning to the courts of New York.

While the cast of the hit show has been playing musical chairs of late, Entertainment Weekly confirmed the two legal ladies will be back for “an undetermined amount of episodes.”

Novak (played by Diane Neal) appeared full-time in seasons 5-9, while Cabot (played by Stephanie March) could be seen in seasons 2-4, and part time in seasons 5, 6, and 11.

Christopher Meloni, who played Detective Elliot Stabler, is moving on, though his partner Olivia Benson (the excellent Mariska Hargitay) will be around as a regular.

The show returns this fall for its 13th season, one of two of Dick Wolf’s mighty “Law & Order” franchise, the other being “Law & Order: LA.”
