Chris Jericho Sent Home on “DWTS”

Chris Jericho can stop believin’ he’ll take home that mirrorball trophy now.

The WWE wrestler and week six leaderboard laggard was the latest voted off “Dancing with the Stars” Tuesday night.

“It’s actually good timing,” Jericho deadpanned. “I have to fly over to England for the Royal wedding.”

Jericho’s tango to Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’” on Monday had earned the performer 22 out of 30 points, the lowest score of the pack.

After learning his fate, Jericho said he looked forward to seeing his kid for the first time in weeks.

“It’s time for Chris Jericho the dancer to step aside and for Chris Jericho the dad to come back,” he said.

His exit followed performances by New Kids on the Block, the Backstreet Boys and “American Idol” castoff Pia Toscano, who's been romantically linked to “Dancing” pro Mark Ballas.

“Is he a good kisser?” host Tom Bergeron needled after she jointly performed “I’ll Stand by You” with Ballas and Karina Smirnoff.

“He’s a wonderful person,” Toscano allowed.

By the end of the show, it came down to Jericho and “Karate Kid” star Ralph Macchio, whose partner Smirnoff had briefly stumbled on the ballroom Monday night.

“It was a mishap and not a mistake,” Macchio said when asked about the incident.

Others advancing next week on “Dancing with the Stars” are: musician Romeo, Disney star Chelsea Kane, NFL-er Hines Ward, Emmy-winner Kirstie Alley and reality star Kendra Wilkinson.
