Rudolph said the show is based on the classic format created by duos like Sonny & Cher, and Donny & Marie.

"I'm going to sing, there's an opening number, there's a live animal, my dress rips away, there's plate spinning guy, there's children, it's nuts, things explode," Rudolph joked.

Andy Samberg, Kristen Bell, Fred Armisen, Chris Parnell, Craig Robinson and Sean Hayes are set to be guests.

Then, the two "Saturday Night Live" alums created new characters out of random head shots.
