“The Daily Show” Says No to 2016 Presidential Buzz

Just as "The Daily Show" thought things were quiet on the election front, reports began to surface about potential 2016 presidential contenders.

The recent spat between Republican New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky has caused a media swarm of speculation about a potential showdown between the two for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination.

And "The Daily Show" wasn't happy about it as it aired clips of all the reports about the ongoing feud between the two politicians.

"No media! Naughty media! You are not allowed to do this if you don't play with the last president we got you. We're not getting you another one," fill-in host John Oliver said.

"It can't be a race if only one party is running," Oliver said, before he aired clips of all the buzz surrounding Hilary Clinton's meetings with President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden.

Oliver went on to air several clips – highlighting a clip of political commentator and host Chris Matthews talking about Hilary Clinton looking "presidential" during the meetings.
