Daytime talk show host, best-selling author, radio host and producer. Now Steve Harvey can add jam session performer to his list of titles as well.
On Tuesday's episode of the "Steve Harvey" show, singer and actress Jennifer Hudson spent the entire hour with the host after Harvey surprised his audience by introducing the "Dreamgirls" star during his opening "Ask Steve" segment.
Hudson discussed motherhood, her time on "American Idol," winning an Oscar, her recent weight loss, and early years working at Burger King where she would sing to customers in the drive-through.
Harvey and Hudson also talked about her Chicago-based charity, the Julian D. King Gift Foundation, created in memory of her late nephew, before Harvey surprised her with a family who has directly benefited from the program.
After performing her single "It’s Your World" from her new album JHUD, Harvey joined Hudson, her band and backup singers on stage to perform another song, "Bring Back the Music," and for an impromptu jam session.
