Seth Rogen and James Franco have a whole lot of reasons to celebrate this weekend.
After Sony Pictures ultimately decided to release their latest film both online and in select theatres, it appears movie fans couldn't help but see what all the fuss was about. NBC News confirms "The Interview" grossed an estimated $2.8 million from the 331 theatres who screened the comedy. In addition, Sony announced consumer spending surpassed $15 million online in a four-day period.
To keep the momentum going, both Rogen and Franco agreed to live-tweet an entire viewing of the film beginning at 2 p.m. PST Sunday. The results were exactly what you expected: Random, funny and downright entertaining.
