Rapper 50 Cent Drops Sale Price of His Farmington Mansion

The 50,000-square-foot mansion was originally listed for $18.5 million but had dropped to $8.5 million last year

Rapper 50 Cent has again dropped the asking price of his Farmington, Connecticut, mansion and it's listed for just under $6 million.

50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, reduced the price of the 17-acre Farmington property to $5.995 million, according to the website of the real estate agent that has the listing

He bought the 19-bedroom home from boxer Mike Tyson in 2003 for $4.1 million, saying it had a "Miami Vice" feel, then made $6 million dollars in renovations.

The 50,000-square-foot mansion was originally listed for $18.5 million but had dropped to $8.5 million last year.

The house has 25 bathrooms, an indoor pool and hot tub, a nightclub, several game rooms and a full gym, a recording studio, a home theater, a pool, a grotto, a basketball court, guesthouses and an approved helicopter landing.

Jackson filed for bankruptcy a year ago, citing debts of $36 million and assets of less than $20 million. A federal bankruptcy judge this month approved Jackson's plan to reorganize his finances and repay creditors.
