Jimmy Fallon and Jamie Dornan Read “Fifty Shades of Grey” in Various Accents

The only thing that can possibly make the “Fifty Shades of Grey” dialogue less awkward is hearing Jamie Dornan and Jimmy Fallon recite it in different accents.

The actor stopped by the “Tonight Show” Monday and chatted with the Fallon about his Rat Pack obsession and how he got his nickname “The Golden Torso.”

“An editor described me as that once, but I’m a skinny white Irish guy,” Dornan said. “A golden torso sounds like something you get at a tanning salon.”

Fallon then asked Doran to indulge in a game of “Fifty Accents of Grey,” where the two men read lines from the “Fifty Shades” novel in different accents generated by a the “ultra high-tech accent generator.”

Dornan, who hails from Northern Ireland, was tasked to read his first line in a Scottish accent.

“I don’t remember reading about nipple clamps in the Bible,” said Dornan.

The accent generator prompted Fallon to attempt his best Russian impression.

“I thought it was chocolate hot fudge brownie sex that we had, with a cherry on top. But hey, what do I know?” said Fallon.

From the familiar French and Italian, to the distinct County Cook Irish, Doran and Fallon showed their range in diverse character rolls.
