“House of Cards” Season 3 Hits Netflix Briefly

"House of Cards" is set to return to Netflix Friday, Feb. 27, but the video streaming site had season three up briefly Wednesday afternoon.

Netflix told NBC that the season was posted because of a "bug in the system."

"Due to a technical glitch some Underwood fans got a sneak peak," a Netflix representative said. "He will be back on Netflix on February 27th."

The "House of Cards" Twitter account also discussed the leak.

This is Washington. There's always a leak. All 13 episodes will launch February 27.

Netflix dropped the trailer of the new season during the 2015 Golden Globes, which you can see above.
