To celebrate the launch of her new show "House of DVF," Diane von Furstenberg has planned the ultimate fashion stunt – she is going to dress the Statue of Liberty.
"We will wrap the 'it' girl of New York," von Furstenberg tells E! News. "The real one – the Statue of Liberty in DVF prints!" Six mini replicas of the iconic sculpture will be placed in six select locations around New York City.
The first unveiling will occur during von Furstenberg's Wednesday appearance on the "Today" show. If you happen to be around the New York area and find one of the statues, be sure to take a picture and upload it to your Instagram or social media account with the hashtag #HouseOfDVF.
The six wrapped Statues of Liberty can be found at the following NYC locations:
Meatpacking District: 13th & Washington
Columbus Circle: Broadway between Columbus Circle and W. 161st St
Times Square: Broadway between W. 48th St and W. 49th St
