The Biggest Boss Atop the Billboard Again

Rick Ross proves a little bad blood and some corrections officer training can't hold him down

The Boss is back on top of the Billboard charts.

No, not that old guy from New Jersey.

We’re talking Miami's own Rick Ross, who is expected to claim the top spot of next week's Billboard Top 200, according to numbers provided by Nielsen SoundScan reported by VH1.com and MTV.com.

The rapper’s latest creation, Deeper Than Rap, sold 158,000 copies in its first week and beat out the Hannah Montana soundtrack.

Now, you know you’ve had a good week when you go head-to-head against Billy Ray Cyrus’ babygirl and lived to tell about it. Just ask Jamie Foxx.

And just like Foxx and Miley Cyrus, it might be beef that beefed up Rick Ross’ sales.

His ongoing fued with rapper 50 Cent and his camp may have goaded fans to cop the CD to see what he might have to say about 50 or any other rapper in the game.

The controversy surrounding Ross' employment as a Miami-Dade corrections officer in his pre-rap life doesn't appear to have hurt his street cred, either.

Right now, bragging rights belong to The Boss.
