While Shia LaBeouf recovers at a hospital, following surgery on his left hand, which was injured in Sunday’s alleged drunken driving crash, new revelations about the actor and his alcohol consumption have emerged.
In the upcoming September issue of Details magazine, which hits newsstands next month, the 22-year-old “Transformers” star told the publication he can’t stop at one alcoholic beverage.
“I don’t know how to do it like a gentleman,” he told the magazine. “I don’t know how to have one drink.”

LaBeouf also told the magazine he and his father “would drink together and smoke together.”
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, LaBeouf was involved in a collision in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The green Ford truck LaBeouf was driving, flipped as he and another vehicle collided as he attempted to make a left-hand turn.

The actor was taken to the hospital following the crash where he was cited, arrested on suspicion of DUI and released. He underwent hand surgery early Sunday morning.
